Stirling Curling Group (SCG) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. For any personal data you provide for the purposes of your membership, SCG is the Data Controller and is responsible for storing and otherwise processing that data in a fair, lawful, secure and transparent way.
SCG will only collect data from you that is needed for SCG to carry out the services it provides to pursue the interests of all persons curling at The Peak Ice Rink, Stirling. You may give us information about you by filling in forms for or at an event or online, or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise or information you provide when you enter/register for competitions run by or managed by SCG or when you correspond with SCG under its remit to act as the interface between Curlers and Active Stirling and the Ice Facility. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, gender, name of your Member Clubs. We will not hold any special category personal data.
The Personal Data that we collect will be limited to:

Home Address including Postcode,
Home and/or Mobile Telephone Number
Gender.
Club Membership.
Photographs (only for use on our web site).


The Personal Data that we collect will be used for the following purposes:
A. Normal communications on SCG, Curling and appropriate Leisure Facility matters.
B. To enable SCG to be a collective voice for all clubs and groups using The Peak Ice Rink
C. To support the Curling Development Officer.
D To manage SCG Competitions and Leagues and to support “track and trace”.
E. Disseminating, where required, to all Skips entered into the same SCG Competitions in order for normal Skip to Skip communication to take place.
F. To advise Active Stirling of contact details for entries into Leagues where they are responsible for collecting money.
G. To advise Scottish Curling (RCCC) of contact details for people who qualify for Scottish Curling Competitions by competing in Stirling Curling Group Competitions.

Our legal basis for processing the personal data:
A. The Constitution approved by the Members.
B. The fulfillment of the remit of SCG as the interface between Curlers/Curling Clubs and the Ice facility and Leisure Facilities. Any legitimate interests pursued by us, or third parties used by us are as follows:

Your rights regarding your personal data
As a data subject you may have the right at any time to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data; to restrict or object to certain kinds of processing of your personal data, to the portability of your personal data and to complain to the UK’s data protection supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office about the processing of your personal data.
As a data subject you are not obliged to share your personal data with SCG. If you choose not to share your personal data with us we may not be able to register your entry into SCG competitions or administer your membership.

Consent is required by SCG to process personal data but it must be explicitly given. Where we are asking you for sensitive personal data we will always tell you why and how the information will be used.
