Edinburgh1 and Stirling1, representing East and West respectively, delivered the tightest game of the semi-final stage. Stirling 1 had the board in their favour with four points in End 3, but Edinburgh1 fought back and led by a point after five ends. Singles in the next two ends brought Stirling one back in front, but, coming down with hammer, Edinburgh1 scored two in the eighth for an 8-7 win. It was all square after two ends between Stirling2 and Edinburgh2, but big points in Ends 3, 4, and 5 enabled Stirling2 to triumph 10-5. With one game each, everything came down to the third game. Edinburgh3 led by the slim margin of a single point at the break, but they came out swinging at the restart with three consecutive threes, resulting in an eventual 13-4 victory. With a 2-1 defeat, Stirling headed home, proud to have made it to the Semis.
