Edinburgh1 and Stirling1, representing East and West respectively, delivered the tightest game of the semi-final stage. Stirling 1 had the board in their favour with four points in End 3, but Edinburgh1 fought back and led by a point after five ends. Singles in the next two ends brought Stirling one back in front, but, coming down with hammer, Edinburgh1 scored two in the eighth for an 8-7 win. It was all square after two ends between Stirling2 and Edinburgh2, but big points in Ends 3, 4, and 5 enabled Stirling2 to triumph 10-5. With one game each, everything came down to the third game. Edinburgh3 led by the slim margin of a single point at the break, but they came out swinging at the restart with three consecutive threes, resulting in an eventual 13-4 victory. With a 2-1 defeat, Stirling headed home, proud to have made it to the Semis. The final was won by Stranraer.

Stirling Ladies Qualify for Morton Final

Well done to the three Stirling Ladies teams, who beat Waterfront to qualify for the Morton Trophy Final on Tuesday 14 March 2023 at Hamilton Ice Rink. We wish them lots of luck in the semi-finals/finals.
